Botanical fragrance - SARROSHYNIA damask rose

Damask rose - this fragrance needs no introduction to anyone.
Rose is the quintessence of sensuality, femininity, ethereal heights and at the same time a classic of fragrances, present in our culture since 270 BC, not to mention fossilized roses dating back 40 million years.

And so the famous patron saint of natural grooming from Egypt - Cleopatra awaited Mark Antony in her bedroom where the floor was strewn with a layer of rose petals a foot and a half thick. Few nations were as obsessed with roses as the ancient Romans. Roses were scattered there during public ceremonies and banquets, rose water was present in imperial fountains and public baths were filled with it. In amphitheaters, the public sat under awnings soaked in rose water, rose petals were stuffed into pillows, people wore wreaths of roses on their heads. Rose puddings were eaten, medicines, tinctures and aphrodisiacs made from roses were used.
